COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Men’s Golf Team carded rounds of 296-296-284 (+24) to win the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate on Saturday at the Ohio State University Golf Club.

The Buckeyes have now won the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate 26 times in its 53-year history.

Last weekend, Ohio State was victorious at the Buckeye Classic, which was played at Columbus Country Club. This is the first time the Buckeys have won back-to-back stroke play events since the 1997-98 season.

Freshman Vaughn Harber, a Desales graduate, contributed nicely for the Buckeyes with rounds of 74-72-72. Harber’s performance was good enough for eighth place at 5-over par. The 2023 OHSAA Division 1 State Medalist finished in the top-10 individually in both the Buckeye Classic and Kepler Intercollegiate.

Tyler Groomes, a Dublin native, competed for the Buckeyes as an individual. Groomes posted an opening round of 71 on Friday morning and finished with rounds of 77-80 to finish in a tie for 33rd.

Next up for the Bucks is the Big Ten Championship at Baltimore Country Club.
