Dublin’s Bob Sowards, PGA, qualified for the 2025 PGA Championship on Wednesday, April 30, at PGA Golf Club.

Sowards shot the best round of the final day to vault inside of the top-20 at the PGA Professional Championship.

His 12th PGA Championship appearance now ties Steve Schneiter for first all-time among PGA Professionals. Sowards’ first appearance was in 1997. Sowards, now the Director of Instruction at Kinsale Golf & Fitness Club will play make an appearance at the PGA Championship in four seperate decades.
