Five Central Ohioans will tee it up in the 2025 US Women’s Four-Ball Championship, starting Saturday, May 10, at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club in Nichols Hills, Okla.

Kary Hollenbaugh and Anna Ritter, a pair of New Albany natives, will make their fourth appearance as a team in the U.S. Women’s Four Ball Championship.

Hollenbaugh, 20, has had an extraordinary spring season with Ohio State. The junior has won four individual titles, while leading the Buckeyes to a National Championship appearance.

Last week, Kary advanced to the U.S. Women’s Open after qualifying at her home course, New Albany Country Club. Her father, Paul, is the Director of Golf at New Albany Country Club.

The 20th ranked player in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking also recently finished runner-up at the Big Ten Championships.

Ritter, a junior at the University of Illinois, has a solid spring season herself. In February, Ritter, 21, carded a final-round 67 (-5) at the Chevron Collegiate. She also recently posted her best individual finish as a member of Illini, a 4th place at the Boilermaker Spring Classic in April.

In 2019, Ritter won the OHSAA Division I Girls Golf Individual Championship. The duo played an instrumental part in leading New Albany High School to four consecutive OHSAA Division I State Championships as a team.

Hollenbaugh and Ritter have advanced as far as the semifinals of the U.S. Women’s Four Ball Championship. That success came in 2022 in Puerto Rico.

In 2021, the pair won the CentralOhioGolf.com Junior Best-Ball at Turnberry Golf Course in Pickerington, Ohio.

A pair of Olentangy High School Lady Braves, Meadow Tian and Jodie Han, are also in the field near Oklahoma City this weekend.

Tian, 17, made an USGA Championship appearance last year at the U.S. Girls Junior. The Delaware, Ohio resident is the 32nd ranked player in the AJGA Rolex Junior Rankings for the class of 2026.

As a freshman, Tian carded the lowest 18-hole score in Division I Girls State Championship history, a 66 at the OSU Gray course in the final round. Tian also finished T-2 individually as a junior, in 2024.

Han, 14, is one of the younger players in the field this weekend at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club.

The resident of Lewis Center had one of the best freshman seasons the state of Ohio has ever seen. Han finished the season with a ridiculous 68.6 scoring average, finished top-five in 15 of 16 tournaments individually, and won 11 times. Jodie was honored with the 2024 Central District Player of the Year award.

Despite being just a 14-year-old, Jodie is no stranger to the national junior golf scene. Han won three times on the AJGA circuit in 2014, where she currently sits 34th in the Rolex Rankings (6th in the class of 2028).

The final Central Ohio competitor in the field, Skylar Dean, 18, of Lewis Center will tee it up alongside Reagan Ramage (Burlington, Ky.).

Dean, a Ball State University commit, is an All-State honoree and member of the Golfweek Junior Tour Hall of Fame. Skylar also won the 2021 CentralOhioGolf.com Junior Match Play.
