ABOUT THE EDITOR
Jack Rubin, 26, is the founder and publisher of CentralOhioGolf.com, formerly known as Cbus Clubhouse. Rubin also serves at the Director of Communications for the Ohio Golf Association.
Rubin played golf for Hilliard Davidson High School in Hilliard, OH and graduated in 2017. While competing in high school events and statewide junior events in 2015, Rubin recognized the high-level of competition the area had to offer, thus sparking the idea for Cbus Clubhouse. After high school in the summer of 2017, a twitter account was created for the idea. In 2018, Cbusclubhouse.com was created to serve as a hub for all things Central Ohio Golf.
After playing golf at Ohio Dominican University his freshman year, Rubin transferred to Ohio University to begin pursuing a career in journalism.
Outside of golf, his favorite hobby is watching sports and rooting on his favorite teams, such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Purdue Basketball, Chelsea FC, and Columbus Crew. Jack’s favorite sports media personalities are Scott Van Pelt, Pat Mcafee, and Robbie Hummel.
On top of his work with the website and social media accounts, he has hosted or co-hosted over 40 amateur events throughout the area. Now in year 7 of Centralohiogolf.com, Jack has covered over a dozen professional events.
Jack’s work with Cbus Clubhouse and CentralOhioGolf.com has been featured on Golf.com, 614NOW, Amateurgolf.com, Golfwrx.com and many other publications.
